In the app
Open Profile, then Settings, then Delete account, and confirm. Your account is deleted straight away, and Ajar no longer has access to your Sign in with Apple account.
What is deleted
Your profile and photo, your library, reading dates, ratings and reviews, shelves, private notes, goals and imports, your friendships, invites and blocks, and your sign-ins on every device.
What stays for a while, or elsewhere
- Our database backups, which are replaced within seven days.
- Records of moderation decisions, kept to stop repeated abuse.
- Copies of public reviews or share images that others saved outside Ajar.
- Purchase records, which Apple and RevenueCat keep.
Cancel Ajar Plus separately
Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and cancel Ajar Plus there.
Can't open the app?
Email [email protected] from the address on your account, or tell us your handle, with "Delete my account" as the subject. We'll confirm it's you and delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner.
